Recently my teacher Andrew Lerario took a trip to Joshua tree and found a very cool looking rock, when he came home he cut and polished it with a rock saw. He decided that he would give this to his daughter, so he asked me to make a necklace out of it in exchange for points. I wrapped the stone in sterling sliver jewelry wire making a cage and made sure the edges were either tucked away or sanded down so that the person wearing it wont get poked by the wire. I hope Andrew's daughter likes the necklace!
